Arkady Kobyakov Biography
The famous chansonnier Arkady Kobyakov had a difficult fate, full of hardships and hardships. But there was a place in it for music, which became not only the main hobby, but also an opportunity to share experiences with other people. After his death, the performer remained an idol and inspiration for many loyal fans who continue to honor his memory years later.

Arkady Olegovich Kobyakov was born on June 2, 1976 in the Russian city of Gorky (now Nizhny Novgorod). The parents of the future chansonnier were simple people: mother Tatyana Yuryevna worked at an enterprise for the manufacture of children’s toys, and father Oleg Glebovich worked as a senior mechanic at a car depot.
When Arkady Kobyakov was still a little boy, the kindergarten teacher drew attention to the musical abilities of the future performer. She recommended Tatyana and Oleg to place the child in a school with a musical bias. This idea was supported by Arkady’s grandmother, and eventually at the age of 6 he became a student of the Nizhny Novgorod Choir for Boys in the piano class.
But soon the mother left the family, after which a dark streak began in the life of the guy. He contacted a criminal company, because of which he ended up behind bars. Arkady Kobyakov served a term for theft in the Ardatovskaya juvenile correctional labor colony.
Shortly before Arkady was released, his father died by a tragic accident. The young man cut off contact with his mother, and the grandmother took the criminal past of her grandson too hard, so in subsequent years he was lonely.
Career start of Arkady Kboyakov
Even during his stay in a juvenile colony, Arkady Kobyakov began to compose songs. The most striking example of his work of that period was the composition “Hello, Mom.” Lyrical and sad, she combined everything for which the fans later fell in love with the singer: heartache and piercing melody. The plot was based on the experiences of the author, who often shared them through creativity.
Upon his release, Arkady decided to continue receiving a musical education, hoping to become an artist in the future. He entered the Mstislav Rostropovich Academic State Philharmonic , but never completed his studies.
The prison past made itself felt, and there were no parents who would have saved the grown-up son from the final transition to the crooked criminal path. And in 1996, Arkady Kobyakov again went to prison – this time for robbery. He was imprisoned for 6.5 years.
Music
For years, the prison became the main place of celebrity creativity. Shortly after the 2nd release, he was again detained and sentenced to 4 years for fraud. While serving his term in the Yuzhny camp, Arkady sat down to write songs.
During this period of biography, several new compositions appeared in the Arkady Kobyakov’s repertoire and even 7 video clips were shot for the most popular of them. Not only cellmates and guards, but also chanson lovers from all over Russia learned about the talented singer and composer with a difficult fate. Released in 2006, Arkady worked as a musician in restaurants and at corporate parties, as well as at gatherings of Russian crime bosses.
But 2 years later, the performer again went to places not so remote. The reason was robbery, because of which he served almost 5 years. During this period, the artist continued to create, and moreover: in 2011, together with the famous chansonnier from Tyumen, Yuri Ivanovich Kostya Arkady Kobyakov, gave a concert for the prisoners of the camp.

He spent his free time from performances in the studio, where he recorded songs both solo and in collaboration with other performers. With Alexander Kurgan, the composition “Ah, if you only knew”, and with Grigory Gerasimov – “Look into my soul” was created.
In 2014, the musician began cooperation with the recording studio “Gold of Chanson”. Thanks to this, new arrangements for old hits were created and previously unheard tracks were released. The clips for the compositions “I Will Not Forget” and “Thousands of Planets” received special attention.
At the same time, Arkady’s discography was replenished with a new disc, it was called “Wait”. Her release was accompanied by performances for loyal fans. After a short time, work on the album “Veterok” was completed.
Arkady Kobyakov was constantly improving in terms of creativity, even taking video courses to learn more about creating videos. He had developments for subsequent clips and compositions, but the artist’s life was tragically cut short. After the death of the famous chansonnier, such collections as “Hello, Mom” and “I will throw the world at your feet” were published.
Personal life
The artist had a busy personal life, but he valued freedom too much. Therefore, contrary to popular misconception, Arkady Kobyakov was never married. Most often, the performer is credited with marriage to his last cohabitant Irina Tukhbaeva. And the woman’s grandson Arseny is mistaken for the singer’s son. But, according to producer Arkady Sergey Lekomtsev, he had no children, although he was thinking about starting a family.
